A Body Elsewhere

When the work within was done, Earth was no longer home.

The figure stands in a world that no longer resembles its point of origin.

Its body is open, but not wounded — it has already reorganized itself, grown into another logic. And before it, a tangle of coloured filaments and glowing nodes hovers like a separate mind, like a former self, like something that left the body and still seeks a bond with it.

Between them, contact almost happens, yet remains suspended.

This is not a return. It is an encounter with what you became once the way back had already closed.
